Barricane Beach

Barricane, or 'Shell Beach', in Woolacombe is a lovely spot. Quieter than the main beach, this is a sheltered and sandy cove. It also has a great beach cafe serving delicious homemade food and even tea in china cups. See the restaurant section for details of evening Sri Lankan curries. You'll find the steps down to it as you head along The Esplanade towards Mortehoe. Parking - if you're lucky get a spot on The Esplanade, or use the main beach car park. Arrive early in peak season, the car parks do get very busy. 

Woolacombe is a 10 min drive from The Quarry.
