Puttsborough Beach

Slightly quieter than Woolacombe. Good beach café and shop, rock pools, car park (expensive!), loos and showers. To get to Puttsborough head to Georgeham (on the way to Croyde). Once in the village you'll see a signpost on the right to Puttsborough Beach, this will lead you through the lanes to the beach. I'd advise getting there early as the narrow lanes can be painful in peak summer. On the way back stop off at the gorgeous Rock Inn in Georgeham (see the restaurants sections for more info) for a bite to eat. Puttsborough is a 15/20 min drive from The Quarry.
