Ilfracombe

Our kids like nothing more than wandering around Ilfracombe. During the summer months you'll find a beautiful merry-go-round near The Landmark Theatre, a small children’s train to take you down to the harbour and a horse drawn carriage to travel in style. There's various bouncy castles, a chocolate museum on the high street, a real old-fashioned town museum full of interesting exhibits and a plethora of ice cream shops. 

The harbour has boats to watch, a small sandy beach at low tide and lots of souvenir shops priced for pocket money. Good old-fashioned seaside fun! Have a look on the Visit Ilfracombe website for more information on festivals and events.
